My path into cybersecurity is anything but conventional. I started behind the computer, working as a photographic retoucher, photo assistant and photographer, before making the pivot into this field through self-study, hands-on practice, and the kind of mentors who ask better questions than they give answers. Speaking of which: I’m a firm believer that the only dumb question is the one you were too afraid to ask.
One of my proudest accomplishments was being selected for the 2024–2025 WiCyS + SANS Security Training Scholarship, a program that lit a fire under my technical growth and deepened my commitment to this field more than I anticipated.
You’ll find me 6 cups of coffee deep in CTF challenges, documenting techniques, and sharing what I learn with the community. Off the net: board games, puzzles, Dungeons & Dragons, and logging entirely unreasonable hours in Night City. I do occasionally touch grass.
I believe the best defenders think like attackers, so I stay sharp on both sides of the wire. Always stay curious and keep moving forward.
